Types of rotary cutting machine
按旋切木段的尺寸范围，旋切机可分为大型、中型和小型三种类型。大型旋切机可旋切木段长度为2000~2700mm、直径达1600mm;中型旋切机旋切木段的长度为1350~1950mm、直径为200~800mm，小型旋切机旋切木段的长度一般在1000mm以下、直径在400mm以下。
According to the size range of the rotary cutting section, the rotary cutting machine can be divided into three types: large, medium and small. The length and diameter of rotary section of large rotary cutting machine are 2000-2700 mm and 1600 mm, while those of medium rotary cutting machine are 1350-1950 mm and 200-800 mm. The length and diameter of rotary section of small rotary cutting machine are generally less than 1000 mm and 400 mm.
按主运动的驱动方式，旋切机又可分为主轴驱动型与外圆驱动型。主轴驱动型根据卡木结构不同又可分为机械卡木型与液压卡木型。机械卡轴旋切机为单卡轴旋切机，其结构简单、易维护保养，但操作劳动强度大、出板率低，在中小企业中使用较多。液压夹紧的卡轴有单卡轴和双卡轴之分。液压双卡轴旋切机自动化程度较高、操作方便、木芯直径小、出板率高、单板质量好，主要在大中型企业中使用。无卡轴旋切机中的木段是由摩擦辊定心并驱动，其木芯直径最小、出板率最高，主要用于木芯的再旋切。

The main shaft driving type can be divided into mechanical and hydraulic jamming according to the different structure of jamming. The mechanical clip spindle rotary cutting machine is a single-clip spindle rotary cutting machine. Its structure is simple and easy to maintain, but its operation labor intensity is high and the rate of plate discharge is low. It is widely used in small and medium-sized enterprises. The clamping axle of hydraulic clamping can be divided into single clamping axle and double clamping axle. Hydraulic double-clamp spindle rotary cutting machine is mainly used in large and medium-sized enterprises because of its high automation, easy operation, small diameter of wood core, high yield and good veneer quality. The wood segment in the non-clipping spindle rotary cutting machine is centralized and driven by friction roll. Its core diameter is the smallest and the rate of discharging is the highest. It is mainly used for the re-rotary cutting of wood core.
按木段是否绕自身轴线旋转，旋切机可分为同心旋切和偏心旋切两类。在偏心旋切机中木段可由卡轴夹紧，或由卡梁夹紧。用偏心旋切机可获得美观的径向花纹，但生产率比同心旋切机低。目前，技术先进的旋切机采用恒线速切削，液压双卡轴及机械定心或激光定心等技术，使旋切机的旋切线速度达3m/s;单板质量大大提高;旋切的最小单板厚度达0.25mm，规格达50余种。
According to whether the wood segment rotates around its axis, the rotary cutting machine can be divided into concentric rotary cutting and eccentric rotary cutting. In eccentric rotary cutting machine, the wood section can be clamped by a clamping shaft or by a clamping beam. Beautiful radial pattern can be obtained by using eccentric rotary cutting machine, but the productivity is lower than that of concentric rotary cutting machine. At present, the advanced rotary cutting machine adopts constant linear speed cutting, hydraulic double-clamp axis and mechanical or laser centering technology, which makes the rotary cutting machine's tangential speed up to 3m/s; the quality of veneer is greatly improved; the minimum thickness of veneer is 0.25mm, and the specifications are more than 50 kinds.
